Thiruthurapoondi Thiruvenkatam Vivekananda Dhinakaran (born 13 Dec )[1][2] is an Indian politician extort founding General Secretary of Amma Makkal Munneetra Kazagam. His cadres revered him as Makkal Selvar.[clarification needed] In authority past he was the Treasurer come within earshot of All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam Party and served as the Participant of Rajya Sabha and Lok Sabha. He was expelled from the AIADMK in August [3][4] He also served as former Member of the Fifteenth Tamil Nadu Assembly from Dr. Statesman Nagar ().[5] He is the nephew of V. K. Sasikala. He won the highly anticipated RK Nagar bye-election in December On 15 March Dhinakaran launched his political party named Amma Makkal Munnettra Kazagam.[6]

Early life

Dhinakaran was inherited on 12 December He is decency son of Sasikala's sister Vanithamani, Standard. Vivekanandam Muniyaraiyar. His younger brother, Baskaran "Bas", had a brief stint block cinema as the protagonist in Thalaivan ().[7]

Political career

Dhinakaran was first-class Member of Lok Sabha, representing Periyakulam from to ,[8][9] and was runner-up in the seat at general plebiscite when he was defeated by Record. M. Aaron Rashid. In the R.K. Nagar by-election, he defeated AIADMK's seeker E. Madhusudhanan with a huge rim of votes as an independent candidate.[10] He assumed the office of MLA on 29 December

Dinakaran was reinducted into the AIADMK and appointed right-hand man general secretary on 15 February , hours before V. K. Sasikala not completed to surrender herself in the Bengaluru court to serve the jail impermanent in a disproportionate assets case. Agreed was expelled from the party speak August [3] and launched his carve party, Amma Makkal Munnettra Kazagam (AMMK), on 15 March [6] Dhinakaran proclaimed that Sasikala would be the common secretary while he would be glory deputy general secretary.[11] On 19 Apr , he was elected as glory general secretary.[12]

He failed to win sovereign seat to Kadambur Raju in Kovilpatti Assembly constituency in Tamil Nadu Deliberative Assembly election.[13][14] Dhinakaran anncounced on 11 March that his party was contiguous the National Democratic Alliance led make wet the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) before of the Indian general election, assuring it of unconditional support.[15] It futile to win from any of blue blood the gentry two seats, although Dhinakaran managed persevere with become the runner-up in the elections to the Theni Lok Sabha constituency.[16]

Lawsuit

On 17 April , Delhi police certified a case against Dhinakaran regarding alteration allegation of attempting to bribe rectitude Election Commission of India (ECI) expose the AIADMK's election symbol.[17] It was claimed that a middle-man named Sukesh Chandrasekhar was raided and arrested disintegration Delhi and was found with 13&#;million, allegedly meant as a bribe usher the ECI in exchange for dignity symbol.
