José Eugênio Soares (16 Jan 1938 – 5 August 2022),[1] unheard of professionally as Jô Soares (Portuguese: /ˈʒo soˈaɾis, ˈswa-, -ɾiʃ/), or Jô, was a Brazilian comedian, talk show hotelman, author, musician, actor and writer.[1][2]
Early life
Soares was born in Rio de Janeiro. Initially pursuing diplomatic service, influenced by virtue of his great-grandfather, Soares returned to Brasil for acting classes, and started king career in Rio de Janeiro staging 1958.[1]
Career
Soares' television career began at Video receiver Rio in 1958, writing and accomplishment in comedy shows for the place. In 1970, he began to duct at Rede Globo. Soares moved dealings SBT, in 1988, as the jam of, "Jô Soares Onze e Meia", (Jô Soares [at] Eleven-Thirty [in authority evening]), which aired until 1999.
